glock 20 gen 5

Glock 20 Gen 5 - I bought a G20 from the Glock store a year ago and it has been a great handgun to use on my farm in northwest Colorado. I have full confidence in his ability to handle any situation in this rural area. Recoil and muzzle jump are very manageable with Winchester silver tips. For a big game hunter, this is a top of the line handgun.

I've heard it's the best weapon for the bears I've encountered in increasing numbers since trout fishing last year.

Field stripping is a bit difficult with short release slides - magazines are hard to load by hand.

I've since installed a retro-fitted release "bar", which makes cleaning up a day after shooting even easier.

I also bought a plastic nozzle for the vacuum on the side handle where the magazine goes in. I've heard that dirt can get into the firing mechanism through there - but IDK, that's for sure again.

With a full magazine, be sure to push it firmly into the gun body - it's annoying to see the magazine fall out. Hopefully the mag spring will be a little weaker.

Has 20SF. My third Glock and my favorite of the 8 handguns. 15 rounds of 10mm is a lot of firepower.

Glock 26 Gen5 9mm Subcompact Semi Auto Pistol

I bought a G20 GEN 4 about a month ago. I bought it cheap. Even if I paid more, I'd still be a happy Glock guy!

I went to the shooting range last week and shot 3 different ammo. Blazer, Sig/Sour and Armscore. All 3 work without any problems. But I would say that I like ARMSCOR the best.

I shot all FMJs in single fire and semi-auto. The gun worked perfectly! Of course, it's a GLOCK!

I have an old G19 from the early 1990's, still a great gun. Always wore it, or my RUGER 1911 45ACP when I first bought it.

I have smaller guns, but I prefer more power! The BOSS, ie WIFE likes small guns anyway. I don't want him mad enough to shoot me; He is a much better shooter than me! His dad raised him in NRA competition in the late 50's and early 60's and he always beat the guy and won the whole trophy! It must have hurt!

I'm torn between 10mm and .45 ACP. However, after reviewing numerous ballistic and performance studies, there is no doubt that... the G20 wins in all areas: muzzle and target speed and power, flight path, etc. Although the ammo is a bit pricey, I'm glad I got it mostly for personal protection, but if that black bear shows up in my backyard again, it might get a lead shampoo!

I've been on the verge of getting one for quite some time. I didn't think much of Glocks because of the plastic and lack of manual safety. But, a .45acp fell into my lap and it grew on me a lot - quality, ergonomics, simplicity and weight considerations. So this will be my first 10mm, based on my previous experience with the Glock... 15 rounds of 10mm should be good for anything I call "home" in the Southern Rockies.

I'm on my 2nd Glock 10mm and I love it. It packs a fall but nothing "uncontrollable". I'm not a big guy but straight out of the box and a little sight to my taste (no extra gear, just stock) and hits my mark every time. AWESOME WEAPON!!!

Glock 40 Mos [review]: A 10mm Hand Cannon

Glock 20 4 gen is my first gun, loud and powerful, my special home defense for wild life

It was my first gun, and like your first love, it's still your favorite. In Houston, it's shorts and t-shirt time nine months of the year, and most of the time I'm usually wearing its little brother, the Glock 29. But when it's cold and I wear a jacket, I always carry the G20. With 16 rounds of hollow points, I think I can handle anything that comes my way. If Sasquatch has bad judgment to show, the G20 will regret it. I love this gun.

My Glock 20 is my weapon to protect my home, no harm intended but it is the weapon that protects me from wild animals and other intruders.

I was looking for a more powerful handgun than my 9MM and .45 ACP. Lots of recommendations for the 10MM so I used one of my Blue Label certificates and bought the Gen 4 G20.

Glock Model 20 Gen 4 10mm Pistol Sootch00 Review

This firearm is the complete package. It is strong but manageable. Has impressive capabilities and I would confidently use it for any domestic or large game (eg bear) protection. This is my 5th Glock and I love them all.

It would be interesting to see what a Gen 5 G20 would add to the mix if Glock produced one (of course, it would be a new model number). The GLOCK Gen5 pistol is the latest example of GLOCK's relentless pursuit of perfection. Gen5 pistols make more than 20 design changes from their Gen4 predecessors. These changes improve accuracy, stability, performance, control and flexibility. Put the next generation of trust in your hands.

The GLOCK 19 Gen5 and GLOCK 19 Gen5 feature the exclusive GLOCK nDLC finish. The ion-bonded finish reduces corrosion and scratching and improves performance in adverse or degraded conditions.

The grip of the GLOCK 19 Gen5 does not have a finger groove. The removal of finger grooves improves grip ergonomics by providing consistent comfort and improved control for a wide range of consumers regardless of hand size.

The GLOCK 19 Gen5 features a flared mag well. The larger opening found in the magwell of the GLOCK Gen5 pistol allows for quick and easy magazine changes, especially in high pressure situations where split seconds matter.

The GLOCK 19 Gen5 features an ambidextrous slide stop lever. It's easier than ever to operate the slide quickly, comfortably and safely for both left- and right-handed gun owners.

Never forget that a firearm can cause serious injury or death in a moment of inattention. Always practice the safe handling of firearms. After determining that a weapon is unloaded, continue handling it as if it were loaded.

When choosing a safe direction, you should also consider that a bullet can hit or eject any object, and that bullets can penetrate walls, ceilings, floors, and windows.

3) Keep your finger off the pistol's trigger guard and off the trigger until you have aligned the pistol's sights on a safe target and decided to fire.

By keeping your finger completely off the trigger guard until you hit the target, you ensure that the shot you fire will travel safely to your target.

Glock Red Dot Mount

Remember that a bullet can travel several miles, so you need to be sure what your bullet can hit before you pull the trigger. Never shoot at movement, noise, flashes of color, or rustling of bushes without positively identifying your target.
