Fort Bragg Nc: In Depth Welcome Center

Soldiers may hail a taxi or use the Airport shuttle service in addition to the HHC, Fort Bragg Reception. Fayetteville Airport has a courtesy call to the Reception Desk at 1 (910) 396-4244 for transportation. Most airport taxis require cash, which is about $30 for a one-way trip.
Military Community Service Outreach Coordinator support is available at the airport from 1000 to 1900, Monday through Friday. For more information, call 1 (910) 764-0123.
You must show your military ID to enter the post. If you do not have a military ID, you will need a driver's license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance. If your vehicle is entering the post office for the first time or does not have military ID, it may be searched. After passing through the Entry Control Point, take the second exit onto Reilly Street. Take the far left lane and turn left onto Normandy Drive. The Soldier Support Center is on your left.
Fort Bragg's Reception Company is a 24-hour operation serving all active duty troops, including XVIII Airborne Corps, 82nd Airborne Division, USASOC, tenant and Active Guard Reserve units, as well as all students attending Special Warfare Center John F. Kennedy and School. . Questions regarding processing or departure extensions should be directed to HHC, Fort Bragg Reception.
Soldier Support Center processing centers include case verification and special orders, personnel, financial, medical document review, issuance and renewal of ID cards, postal vehicle registration, dental examination, ACS, Youth Services, CIF and shipping. They are open daily from 0800 to 1700.
Fort Bragg visitor passes will be issued to those with valid reason to enter the installation. A security check is required for all guests.

Named for the Marquis de Lafayette, a revered general of the American Revolution, Fayetteville's patriotic name reflects the community's culture. Fayetteville is home to approximately 350,000 patriotic citizens and the seat of Cumberland County. Surrounded by the North Carolina Sand Mountains between the coastal plains and the piedmont, Fayetteville is located on the Cape Fear River. Downtown Fayetteville offers unique, local shopping and dining. The area is also home to golf courses, museums, botanical gardens, live music, performing arts and minor league sports teams.
